BATUAN, Masbate --- A 41 years old civilian was murdered on Tuesday morning by eight armed suspects believed to be members of local communist group.
According to Police Senior Inspector Maria Luisa C. Calubaquib, PRO – 5 Regional Public Information Officer, the liquidation of Ernie Llonoso y Bose by still unidentified perpetrators occurred on May 9, 2017 at 5:00 o’ clock in the morning at his residence in Barangay Costa Rica, Batuan, Masbate.
In a report reaching Camp Simeon A. Ola the victim was inside his house when the unidentified suspects suddenly entered his house and forcibly taken the victim.
Llonoso was hog-tied and mercillesly shot several times in the different parts of his body that caused his instantaneous death.
After slaughtering their hapless victim, the suspects took eight  cellphones (Nokia, SKK, Cherry Mobile and I-phone) worth more or less fifty thousand [Php50,000.00] which belongs to the relatives of the victims who was present during the incident.
The suspects fled towards the mountainous direction of Barangay Del Rosario, San Fernando, Masbate after the incident.
Joint elements of Batuan Municipal Police Station and 5th Regional Public Safety Battalion, 2nd Maneuver Platoon, responded to the area and found lifeless with gunshot wounds.
Authorities found six  pieces of empty shells from caliber 5.56mm which was turned-over by the live-in partner of the victim to the responding police officers.
Post mortem examination was conducted at the Rural Health Unit of San Fernando, Masbate. (www.philippineexaminer.com)
