Carrying the theme, “Water District Options and Solutions for Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation” the convention gathered about 500 water districts in the country which aims to deliver comprehensive approaches to the challenges encountered by the districts.
The Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) is the umbrella organization of all water districts in the country established on August 31, 1974. The association strongly advocates pertinent policies, standards, and programs to ensure effective and sustainable operations and collaboration of water districts in the Philippines.
The MNWD’s active involvement in the convention clearly exhibits the commitment of the District to secure better options and give solutions to the challenges relative to water sustainability in the region.
It has become more profound and meaningful through its corroborative efforts which includes participation in national events and assemblies of all water districts across the Philippines; giving us the assurance and confidence that all member-consumers have a safe and affordable drinking water, adequate supply, and conserved watersheds.
