Men point gun to child to force mother to cough up ATM card

By Celso Amo LEGAZPI CITY --- Four hold-up artists wearing black bonnet on board a van stopped while two of them pointed a handgun on a young mother carrying her one year old child and ordered her to get inside the van in Barangay Borabod in Sorsogon City. Mia Rachelle Pura Bautista, 22, a young mother from Barangay Culambuga was carrying her one year old Zeus Mathew at about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday when she was forced to get inside the gray Hi-Ace van, according to Senior Inspector Malou Calubaquib, Bicol PNP spokesperson. While inside the vehicle, the perpetrators pointed a gun on the head of her child and forced her to give her PNB ATM card containing about P98,000.00 including a password. The victim and her child were later released about ten kilometers away at Barangay Cabid-an in Sorsogon City. Supt. Ed Domangas, Sorsogon City police chief, has ordered a thorough investigation to identify they perpetrators and bring them to account for their crime.
