Mall treats students with cerebral palsy
LEGAZPI CITY--- group of students with cerebral palsy from Rawis Elementary School, Legazpi Division Special Education (SPED) enjoyed free treat from SM City of Legazpi on Friday aftfernoon. The free treat is part of the celebration of “Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection Week” in this city with the theme “Kung sa Cerebral Palsy may alam, Maganda ang Kinabukasan”. Claire Hariri, SM Legazpi spokesperson, in an interview said the free treat is part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to help and support the community in best way they can offer. “At least 25 students together with their parents, teachers and principals enjoyed free snacks as part of their “Advocacy Walk” in the mall.” Hariri added. Hariri said that the advocacy walk in the mall is one way of showing the world that they can also go out and experience life outside their comfort zone. Going to a mall and enjoying leisure moment with their family and have fun are part of the activities conducted.
