NAGA CITY- Fostering the value of Social Responsibility, the Naga Parochial School through its Student Council Organization (SCO), participated in the “Toiletry Drive for Prisoners”. The said drive was conducted by the Caceres Commission on Prison Welfare (CCPW) in October -Prison Awareness Month.

The school was able to gather more than two thousand (2,000) pieces of food and toiletry goods, all from the generous donations of the students and parents of the School. Such number of goods was turned over to CCPW Director Rev. Fr. Jay Aguilar on October 11, 2018 at his office at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary by SCO President Juan Carlos Madrid and Student Activity Program Coordinator, Mrs. Catherine D. Chavez.

The “Toiletry Drive for Prisoners’ Campaign was launched by the CCPW in July as a response to Christ words, “When I was in prison and you visited Me”. The said drive followed the 3G-P: Gather, Go, Give to Prisoners approach which they started back in July. All of the donations gathered will be distributed to the prisoners residing in the Bureau of Jail Management and Penologies (BJMP) in Naga, Iriga and Tigaon, as well as in the Tinangis Penal Farm in Pili.
