Housemaid held for thief; old man booked for illegal lumber
NAGA CITY --- Police operatives during the conduct of an investigation recovered from a housemaid P10,760 cash after her employer complained to the police that her cash amounting toP155,000 was missing inside the drawer in their master’s bedroom where she kept them.
Marivic Morallo-Prilles, 44, of Bgy. Sagrada, Bula, Camarines Sur on Tuesday (Nov. 20) told responding policemen that upon review of her CCTV at home, her housemaid (whom we shall identify only as Lenlen), 18, single of Caramoan, Camarines Sur was shown entering her room in the early mornings (separately between 6:00 to 6:41 a.m.) of Nov. 14, Nov. 15, and Nov. 19 and at 12:37 p.m. on Nov. 13.
Upon investigation, operatives of the Bula municipal police station recovered from the suspect P10,760, believed to be part of the missing bigger loot.
Meanwhile, in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur, personnel of patrolling police operatives of the town apprehended Erly R. Garrado, 67, married, and resident of Bgy. Sta. Maria, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur while in the act of transporting 6 pieces of good lumber of different sizes without the necessary permit. He was booked for violation of P.D. 705. csppo
