NPS Team represents Bikol in National Bible Quiz

The Naga Parochial School (NPS) Bible Quiz Team represented the Bikol Region during the 9th St. Paul National Bible Quiz at the Music Hall, Mall of Asia, Manila, last November 25, 2018 - Solemnity of Christ the King.

The NPS Team, composed of Nicole Ables, Sofia de Jesus, Liesbeth San Juan, and coach Ms. Evangeline Hertez was the regional champion. There were 12 teams from different schools all over the Philippines which participated in the National Finals. There were about 600 schools that participated in the eliminations which were held in the different regions of the country.

Two schools of the Sisters of Mary got the top two posts during the championships. This was the 3rd time the NPS team represented the Bikol region in the National Finals as this was also their 3rd championship in the regional finals. All the finalists showed impressive performance during the National Championship Bible Quiz. The contest is organized annually by the St. Paul Society. (R. Francisco A. Evangelista)
