Archbishop Tirona leads the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes in Abo

Most Rev. Rolando Tria Tirona, OCD, DD preside the celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes last February 11, 2019 at Abo Farm in Brgy. Abo, Tigaon, Camarines Sur. It is preceded by nine days novena and procession participated in by parishioners from the nearby parishes and pilgrims. During the homily the archbishop stressed three main themes to the people, first he calls for the deeper reflection of our personal relationship to God that must be manifested through conversion. Second, a need to cultivate prayer life as means to deepen relationship with God as it was shown by Mary and lastly does a charitable work as manifestation of faith because according to him faith without work is dead. This annual activity initiated by Mater Dolorosa Parish and by the Fuentebella family that aims to promote the devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary.
