9ID calls mediamen for cooperation on mid-term election

NAGA CITY --- The Army’s 9th Infantry Spear Division called the mediamen for cooperation before the coverage of the 2019 midterm election on May.

At the 2nd Media Convergence and Fellowship Night held last week, Col. Paul Regencia, spokesperson of the Division Public Affairs Office (DPAO) of the 9ID, he stressed the possible dangers that the mediamen working for television or radio network will face, during their coverage of the upcoming elections, especially at the areas that the division considers as ‘’areas of concerns’’ due to the presence of communist insurgency and registered incidents in connection to the elections.

The Colonel suggested to the media personalities that it is better for them to cooperate to the army first before their coverage for safety purposes.

Regencia ensured that every media personality at their backs are safe from kidnapping, mauling, murder and any crimes that neutralizes media duties.
