P350K worth shabu seized in Libmanan

LEGAZPI CITY -- Suspected shabu worth P350,000 was seized over the weekend from a high-value target pusher in a drug sting in Libmanan, Camarines Sur, a police report said on Monday.

Nabbed was Jose Caceres alias “Jojo”, 55, resident of Barangay Malbogon in the said town.

Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Police Regional Office 5 spokesperson, said anti-narcotics police operatives bearing a search warrant swooped down on the suspect’s rented house in Barangay Bigajo Norte at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Seized from the suspect were eight pieces of plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 60 grams with a street value of P350,000.

Caceres was charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and is now locked up at the municipal jail. PNA
