Fr Timoner, Master of the Dominicans Visits Home

August 14, 2019 - The Thanksgiving Mass of the Very Rev. Fr. Gerard Francisco P. Timoner, III OP, Master of the Order of Preachers at 5:15 this afternoon at the Parroquia de San Bautista, Daet, Camarines Norte will be celebrated in “coram Episcopo”.

Coram Episcopo is a Latin phrase which is translated as “in the presence of the Bishop”. Bishop Rex Andrew will be present during the Eucharistic Celebration but he will not be the one to preside over the Mass. The bishop’s presence in the Mass is a gesture of respect and recognition of the importance of the office received by Fr. Gerard being elected as the 88th Successor of St. Dominic of Guzman.
