Inquirer, BM ink reseller agreement
Bicol Mail (BM) has entered into an agreement with the Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) wherein the country’s leading national broadsheet appoints Bicolandia’s oldest regional newspaper as its “local newspaper partner authorized to solicit advertisements” for PDI’s national classifieds and its other business initiatives.
Termed as Authorized Reseller Agreement, the contract is entered into by and between the two newspaper companies in which BM commits to devote best efforts towards the sale of PDI ads in compliance with the selling price, terms and conditions of sale set by PDI, which in turn, will provide Bicol Mail with marketing, promotional, selling forms, and other similar sales materials.
BM was represented in the contract signing by its publisher, Nilo P. Aureus, while PDI was represented by Atty. Rudyard Arbolado, PDI chief operating officer, and PDI Assistant Vice President for Classifieds and Distribution.
Aureus said the partnership will benefit both public and private entities in the Bicol Region that wish to place ads in Philippine Daily Inquirer sans the effort of going to the offices of PDI in Manila.
