Thousands of police pensioners to receive differential pay

LEGAZPI CITY ---- Here’s good news to thousands of police pensioners. The Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bicol announced on Wednesday that their monthly differential pay would be available at the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) by the end of the November.

PMaj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib said the funds have been downloaded in the LBP intended for salary deferential pay to some 5,000 PNP retirees in Bicol .

The amount that was credited to the bank would cover pension differential for the months of April and May this year.

She said the Department of Budget and Management has recently released P2.3 billion fund to be used as pension payments to thousands of retired police personnel across the country.
