Shootout kills drug pusher in CSur
LEGAZPI CITY --- A drug pusher who is a high value target was killed in a shootout with police narcotics operatives while another was collared in a separate drug sting in Iriga City and Bato town in Camarines Sur, a police report said.
Killed was Leman Olea, 33, of Zone 6, Tarusan St., Barangay San Francisco Iriga City, said PMaj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of PNP Bicol.
Olea was transacting a drug deal with an undercover police agent on Jan. 13 at around 11:40 PM at his residence when he sensed that it was a police set up, he drew his .38 caliber handgun and fired at the police forcing police operative to fire back killing him on the spot.
Recovered from the crime scene were two sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), .38 cal. revolver including six cartridge case, and three fired bullets slugs.
In Bato town, police anti-narcotic operatives collared on Sunday (Jan. 12) night an alleged notorious drug pusher in a drug sting in said town.
Chris Caneso alias Ka Bunso, 31 of Barangay Mabalodlod, Tigaon was caught in the act while repacking suspected shabu (crystal meth) at his safe house in Barangay San Vicente at around 9:10 PM according to Calubaquib.
Police operatives seized from the suspects a medium size sachet containing shabu and three small sachets of shabu, a cell phone and a motorcycle.
The suspects was detained at the town police jail.
