A circular was issued by Caceres Archbishop Rolando J Tirona, OCD, announcing the passing away of + REV. FR. JESUS A. ALARTE JR last February 7, 2020 (Friday) at the Mother Seton Hospital, Naga City due to massive GI bleeding secondary to LIVER CIRRHOSIS.

+ Fr. Jesus was born in Tabgon, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. He took his Elementary Education at Tabgon Elementary School and Secondary Studies at Tabgon High School. He finished his College Degree at Partido College, Goa, Camarines Sur and took his Philosophical studies at Holy Rosary Minor Seminary, Naga City and Theological Studies at Holy Rosary Major Seminary, Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City.

He was ordained priest on June 8, 2006 at the Parish of St. Michael the Archangel, Caramoan, Camarines Sur for the Archdiocese of Caceres. His previous parish assignments were as parish priest of Sibaguan Lagonoy and in St. Therese of Liseux Parish, Sta Teresita, Iriga City. The Funeral Mass is on February 13, 2020 at the Resurrection Chapel at the Holy Rosary Major Seminary.
