STRANDED DOLPHINS

STRANDED DOLPHINS. Two dolphins, a cow and her calf, were found stranded on the seashore of barangay Tagas in San Jose, Camarines Sur on Wednesday, Mar. 25. The cow, measuring 68 centimeters (cm) in length and 28 cm in width was already lifeless when found, while the calf measured 30 cm in length and 24 cm in width, was rescued and brought back to the sea. Froilan Parasona, a resident of the coastal village saw the beached dolphins and reported the incident to the barangay officials. The remains of the cow was buried by residents on the beach.
