Caritas Caceres Launches Kindness Station Project

NASSA (National Secretariat for Social Action) through the Caritas-Caceres introduces another covid crisis response: Caritas/Parish Kindness Station (like a community barter station). This program is not anymore a dole-out/relief giving activity. The people in the community also give what they can, to be shared with other members of d community. The Kindness Station’s slogan: “Take what you need. Spare some for others. Give what you can.”

There are also the “Kindness Stores” which are established to help small farmers/producers sell their products and at d same time provide for their needs. It is also a self sustaining project for d Parish Social Services Committee.

Several parishes of the Archdiocese have already put up the Kindness Station. Among them are Mo Teresa Parish, Dugcal Camaligan CS, St Vincent Ferrer Parish,Ombao Bula CS and Bongalon Sagnay CS.
