Sales takes oath as chief of BMC before Health Secretary Francisco Duque III

NAGA CITY --- Dr. Francisco Sales III, after more than a year of being the officer-in-charge of the Bicol Medical Center (BMC) , has been appointed as the BMC’s full-fledged Medical Center Chief II (MCC II). Sales took his oath of office before Health Sec. Francisco T. Duque III on Sept. 28, this year through a virtual ceremony.

As the 13th Medical Center Chief II of BMC, Sales expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all BMC staff and personnel for their help and contribution. He also stressed his full commitment to the continuing modernization of the BMC.

Sales said that the Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Disease (EREID) Center will be a priority project of his administration as it is necessary in this time of the pandemic.

He said that apart from the 100-bed make-shift isolation facility, the EREID Center will have its own RT-PCR Laboratory, operating room, and emergency room.

Sales, 64, will have one more year to lead the BMC and implement his plans and programs.

He appealed to his personnel for cooperation and collaboration amid prevailing health crisis.

“We work as one, we will win as one,” Sales said.
