Bicol cops seize P6.5M illegal drugs in 95operations in October

LEGAZPI CITY --- The Police Regional Office-5 (PRO5) in Bicol seized some P6.5 million worth of illegal drugs during 95 drug operations conducted by different police units in October.

In a report on Thursday, Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, also said 119 drug personalities were arrested in the operations across the region.

“A total of 860.4640 grams of shabu, 56.8630 grams of marijuana, and 130 grams of cocaine were seized during the operations conducted by different police units in the six provinces in the region,” she said.

Calubaquib thanked the public for the continued support as the accomplishments showed the effective collaboration of the community and different stakeholders in the region.

She said proper information and dissemination campaigns conducted by their office for the public had an impact on the accomplishments. (PNA)
