Naga lass to compete in Miss Universe PH 2021

Jamina Bulawan, a young lass of 24 summers has been dreaming of becoming a top beauty titlist since her childhood. Jam, as she is fondly called by her family and friends, said she is a Marian devotee being a believer of Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia, the patroness of Bicolandia.

A graduate of Computer Science at the Mapua University of Intramuros (Batch 2019), Jam grew up in Naga City where she spent years studying at the Universidad de Sta. Isabel (USI). She finished her high school at USI in 2013.

Aside from being a religious person, she wanted to go along with groups and movements that staunchly support the pro-life campaign and the advocacy on women empowerment.

About her being a feminist, Jam quoted Sheryl Sandberg, an American business executive, billionaire and philanthropist who serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Facebook, as saying: “We need women at all levels, including the top, to change the dynamic, reshape the conversation, to make sure women’s voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored”.

Right now, this chinky-eyed morena standing 5 feet and 7 inches joins other hopefuls in the Top 100 candidates vying for the 1st Miss Universe Beauty Pageant 2021. jasonbneola
