PCCI cites MOCA finalist award to MNCCI

Manila, Philippines --- The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry being the country’s biggest trade group and a non-government association of private businesses that works to influence government actions on various issues having impact on business has recently presented to MNCCI President Mario C. Villanueva a special recognition for being adjudged as one of the Finalists of the 2023 Most Outstanding Chamber Award ‘whose leadership and dynamism contribute to business growth of its members and local economic development in the city of Naga.’


The award was presented by Dr. Alberto P. Fenix, Jr., the PCCI President of the Human Resources Development Foundation, Inc. and concurrently the Chair of the Philippine Chamber Development Institute, in the presence of EVP Danny De Leon and PCCI Regional Governor Ferdinand “Don” Sia, during the Chamber Management Forum held in Manila Hotel on October 24,2023. Part of the MNCCI delegation was also attended by MNCCI Board Secretary Nico Nino G. Lagrimas, Board Treasurer Delfin Almanza Jr. and the new Secretary General- Dr. Agapito C. Rubio Jr.


The Chamber Management Forum was a precursor program conducted prior to the 49th Annual Philippine Business Conference on October 25 & 26, 2023 which shall be attended by 182 Business Chambers and Clubs, 5 regions around the country with over 35,000 corporate and individual memberships. This forum today was highlighted with awe-inspiring keynote addresses surrounding Chamber Development inputs, show-casing of Best Practices among selected high performing chambers and trailblazing initiatives among chamber-hall of famers. In a nut-shell, the forum led to trickle down indispensable ramifications that unlock future challenges among chambers which are capable of propelling robust economy, grounded on sound business practice.
