Peñafrancia online presentation in covid19 pandemic
Due to Covid19, all major activities of our annual Divino Rostro and Our Lady of Penafrancia Fiesta are once again cancelled. The Caceres Commission on Communications and the Bicol Diocesan Social Communication Directors will have a special presentation dubbed as “PAG-AMPON NI SAN JOSE ASIN NI INA” from September 10-20, 2021.
The program was conceptualized to draw all devotees around the world to pray to Our Lord, the Divino Rostro, through the intercessions of Our Lady of Penafrancia during this year of St. Joseph. Likewise, with the absence of the traditional religious activities, we hope to provide an alternative way of celebrating our devotion and lead to common discernment and reflection. And also to express our oneness as a region as we pray together and hope to overcome the Pandemic through our love to INA and the Divino Rostro.
As a preliminary program to all the Eucharistic celebrations during the novenario, this will be aired at the FB Page of the Archdiocese of Caceres at 4:00pm. The program will feature our dear bishops and some priests who will give us 5-10 minute reflections during the Novenario. Since there will be non-bicolano audience, the messages will be in Tagalog or English. Likewise, a fitting marian song (MTV Style) will be performed by the diocesan choir that will interspersed with pictures or videos of their Penafrancia celebration in the diocese.
On Sept 20, 2021, the Feast Day of INA, His Eminence, Luis Cardinal Tagle will share his message and reflections before the Pontifical Mass
We are hoping the wide coverage of the said streaming with INA’s devotees worldwide anticipating our united effort to bring the devotion to them.
