Policemen, DICT launches ‘Sim card mo, I-register ko’ project in Virac

VIRAC, Catanduanes --- The Municipal Police Station (MPS) here is holding a ‘Sim card mo, I-register ko’ project in various areas of this town.

The project aims to make services of the government easier and more convenient to the public in relation to the peace ang security framework of PNP Chief PGen. Rodolfo S. Azurin, Jr. dubbed as Malasakit, Kaayusan at Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran na pinag tibay ng KASIMBAYANAN Kapulisan Simbahan at Pamayanan.

Last weeked, the activity was held on Virac Fountain/Freedom Park which aims to assist the public in registration of their sim cards.

The project has already benefitted 300 individuals.

Aside from assistance in sim registration, food packs were also distributed and a feeding program was also conducted.

The event is organized in part by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Cat1st PMFC, and KKDAT. (PIA5/Catanduanes)
