TGP donates tricycles to Naga’s 27 barangays

The Talino at Galing ng Pinoy (TGP) partylist has donated 27 units of brand new tricycles to the Naga City government intended for the use of the city’s 27 barangays.

TGP partylist Representative Jose Teves Jr., turned over the 27 units of tricycles worth P2.7 million to Mayor Nelson Legacion.


Teves said that he hopes that the vehicles will help provide the barangays with the mobility they need if only to bring their services nearer to those who need them.


“Undeniably, the barangays play vital roles in the delivery of basic services as they are the most important local government units. They, being the primary planning and implementing arm of government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities in the community,” he said.


Legacion thanked and lauded Teves and his TGP partyist, saying that the undertaking is first-ever to happen in the history of Naga.


Among the TGP’s advocacies is to nurture, honor, and support natural and acquired talents and skills of Filipinos through legislative work and agenda, address their needs and concerns to ensure adequate government support is given to realize their dreams.
