₱102K worth of shabu, firearm, ammunition seized

SIPOCOT, Camarines Sur --- The Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit of Sipocot MPS, together with personnel from the Camarines Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU), and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), in coordination with the PDEA Provincial Office, served two search warrants in Barangay Calagbangan, Sipocot, Camarines Sur, at about 11:50 p.m. on August 10, 2025.


Search Warrant No. 2025-13 was for violation of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), and Search Warrant No. 2025-14 was for violation of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), both issued by RTC Libmanan against the suspect known as “Masaw,” 45 years old, married, and a resident of Sipocot.


Recovered and confiscated from the suspect’s possession and control were:


One pack of Camel cigarettes containing five (5) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, 1 coin purse containing two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu and ten ₱100 bills, 1 caliber .38 revolver, serial number 862683, TM: ARMSCOR 202 SPL, loaded with six live rounds of ammunition.


The confiscated drug evidence weighed approximately 15 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱102,000.


The search, marking, and inventory of the seized evidence were conducted in the presence of the suspect and the required insulating witnesses. The suspect was informed of the cause of his arrest, apprised of his constitutional rights, and is now under the custody of the Sipocot MPS for proper disposition.
