5 arrested in buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY --- Anti-narcotics police arrested on Sunday, June 25, five suspects, who yielded three heat sealed plastic sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), in a buy bust operation at a lodging house along Magsaysay Avenue in Naga City, a report that reached the Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO5) said on Monday. Sr. Insp. Ma. Luisa Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, said one of the five suspects was nabbed in a buy bust held at about 1:00 a.m. on June 25 inside the B5 Lodging House in Barangay Balatas, Naga City. She said the lawmen composed of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit of Naga City Police Office (NCPO) and Station 2 of NCPO recovered two unopened sachets of “shabu”, one opened sachet of “shabu” and drug paraphernalia believed used by the group in their pot session inside the lodging house. The lawmen also recovered the P500 used in the buy-bust.
