Regional Forum on New Business Education Curriculum se

NAGA CITY --- The Regional Council of Deans and Business Educators (CODBE-R5) in Bicol will hold a general assembly on July 26,2017 at the Consuelo “Chito “ Madrigal Foundation Amphitheater in Ateneo de Naga University, Bagumbayan Sur campus, Naga city. With the theme, “Business Education in the Changing Horizons” the event will be a one-day gathering co-sponsored by the Commission of Higher Education in Bicol (CHED- RO5). This forum focuses only on the recent updates on the issued Commission Memorandum Orders ( CMOs.) concerning the K+12 aligned New Business Education Curriculum. The CHED-RO5 Director, Dr. George M. Colorado, CESO III, will deliver the keynote address. Among the major discussants are the key Education Supervisors of CHED-RO’s different academic disciplines who will provide updates and guides on how to implement the newly issued Policies, Standards and Guidelines PSGs) in revising the old and, designing the new curriculum. In particular, the discussants are; For Entrepreneurship – Dr. Manuel Mendoza, SEPS;, for Business and Management Education - Ms. Jean Cardino, ES II;, for Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism Management – Dr. Karen Iniego, ES II;, and, for Public Administration and Management – Atty. Christian Rivero, ES II. The expected participants on this gathering are specifically college deans, department heads, program coordinators of business education programs of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Bicol.
