ADNU slates ILAO launch

NAGA CITY --- The Ateneo de Naga University, through its College of Law, will formally launch the Ignatian Legal Apostolate Office (ILAO) on Saturday, July 29, at the Fr. Godofredo Alingal, SJ Hall. Inspired by the principles of Jesuit education, ILAO aims to form Ignatian practice-ready graduates and servant-lawyers to serve the six provinces of Bicol. This special office under the ADNU College of Law will provide experiential learning/clinical legal education, free legal assistance and developmental legal aid, mandatory continuing legal education, bar refresher/review, legal research and publications, and advocacies on human rights, rule of law and access to justice. The Ignatian Legal Apostolate Office will be led by Associate Dean Nina Rances, under the guidance of Dean Jose Maria Carpio.
