MNWD and Land Bank sign MOA for water bill ePayment
In its continuing effort to give excellent service to its customers, the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) Naga Centro Branch recently. The MOA aims to provide a fast and efficient alternative payment service for MNWD’s customers. With the MOA, the clients of both the LBP and the MNWD can pay their water bills through the bank’s Electronic Payment Portal (ePP), a web-based payment program that is designed and operated by the LBP. Using the ePP would give convenience to existing LBP clients because they can pay their waters bill through the internet anytime, anywhere. MNWD Acting General Manager Virginia I. Nero and LBP AVP Jocelyn B. Regulacion, representing their respective institutions, inked the MOA at the Board Room of the Water District on September 11, 2017. The internet-based payment scheme will be launched on November 1, this year. Partnerships with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and the United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) are soon to be forged, all part of the MNWD’s aim to give the best service to its customers.
