MNCCI elects its 2018 officers

NAGA CITY --- The multi-awarded Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry -- a Hall of Famer as an outstanding local business chamber among the other business chambers nationwide for three consecutive years -- elected its new set of officers during its last Board meeting for 2017 last December 14 at the Mariners Hotel inside the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges campus along Panganiban Avenue here. Businessman-contractor Ferdinand ‘Dondon’ Sia was elected President. He replaces Gilbert Albero who has served as the chamber’s president for the last three years. Albero, however, will continue to sit as member of the Board Directors of the MNCCI to serve his remaining one-year term as director. The rest of the officers were unanimously acclaimed upon their nominations following young Sia’s win by a convincing margin. They are: PR woman and event organizer Eleanor ‘Leanne’ Zuniga Montemayor, as Executive Vice President; Real Estate Broker Engineer Jaime Kalaw, VP for Chamber Management; Ateneo de Naga University Dean Agapito Rubio as VP for Finance; Businessman-Farmer Joseph Cruz as VP for Programs and Projects; Atty. Norman Barrosa as Board Secretary and PIO; Beauty and Wellness Salon owner Kristine Bernadette Gaya as Treasurer; and Culinary Expert and Professor Billy Genterola as Auditor.
