Sanitation inspectors set to hold national convention in Naga
By Jason B. Neola NAGA CITY --- The League of Sanitation Inspectors of the Philippines, Inc. (LSIPI) will be holding its 20th National Planning, Consultative Seminar Workshop & Convention here in this city on April 4-6. To be held at Villa Caceres Hotel here, the convention will tackle on the issues of environmental health, safe water and sustainable sanitation under the theme, “Professional Sanitarians, Foot Soldiers of the DOH Meeting the Demands of the Millenial.” LSIPI Naational President Dunn Patrick B. Imana of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga said the event will be graced by more or less 3,000 sanitation inspectors from all over the country with LSIPI Bicol as host. “The activity is expected to showcase best practices and approaches in addressing environmental sanitation challenges,” Imana added. Naga City Mayor John G. Bongat will welcome the participants and guests and deliver the keynote address during the opening ceremony.
