Fortuno launches Rinconada Initiative
NABUA, Camarines Sur --- Congressman Salvio Fortuno of Camarines Sur’s 5th district launched on Friday, April 20, 2018 “The Rinconada Initiative.” The project aims at lifting the common townfolks of Rinconada from the prevalent mendicant mentality by making them productive thereby raising their self-esteem and making them financially independent. A departure from the usual livelihood projects that promote handicrafts trainings, the project will provide Financial Literacy and Entrepreneural Training, as well as the start-up capital for the beneficiaries/participants. The first batch consisted of 64 participants selected by the local executives of Iriga City and the municipalities of Baao, Balatan, Bato, Buhi, Bula and Nabua. They consist mainly of housewives and retirees while some are employees looking for sources of “extra income”. The Rinconada Initiative will be implemented in partnership with Royalè Business Club International, Inc., a multi-level marketing company that is now on its 12th year and has already produced the most number of millionaires than any other MLM company in the country. The Project launch was presided over by Ms. Yen Fortuno, Project Director and daughter of Cong. Fortuno. The Business Presentation was delivered by Royalè Naga Branch Manager Ricky Moreno and the Project Overview was discussed by Warren Chavez of Royalè DreamTeam PRO.
