A pilgrimage to Hanoi Cathedral
A group of members of the local Couples for Christ (CFC) went on a pilgrimage to the St. Joseph Cathedral in Hanoi, Vietnam the other week. Led by Doctors Emil and Babette Alegre, the group attended the Holy Mass at the famous catholic Cathedral on the occasion of the Feast of Jesus of Divine Mercy. During their pilgrimage, they also visited cultural sites, temples, a cultural center, and a Cruise at Halong Bay famous for its natural rocks formation, like the “kissing chicken”, all named UNESCO heritage sites. Shown in above photos at left is the Main Altar of the Cathedral with its magnificent French architectural design. At right are the members of the group with the Alegres seated at far left.
