ERRATUM

The workshop on the role of business organizations in creating a culture of resilience and preparedness sponsored by the International Labour Organization (ILO) will be held on May 8, 2018, instead of May 14, 2018 as inadvertently reported in this paper last week, at the same venue – La Piazza, Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City. Organized here by the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) Bicol Chapter, the workshop aims to provide participants an opportunity to learn about the new Conflict Resilience Toolkit developed by the ILO to help prepare the business sector against natural conflict and disasters. This tool kit is a core component of ILO’s Sustainable and Resilient Enterprise Platform, a multi-partner ‘network of networks’ that has been developed to promote decent work and sustainable and resilient enterprises. Participants will include representatives from the government, employers’ and workers’’ organizations, development agencies, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bicol. So far, this seminar has been initially slated in only two cities – Naga City and Zamboanga – in this month of May with other cities to follow shortly. Our apologies for the wrong date initially published. EDITOR
