AdeNU welcomes new students with ORSEM 2018
NAGA CITY --- The Ateneo de Naga University gates have once again opened to welcome the new batch of college students for SY 2018-2019 through the Orientation Seminar (ORSEM) 2018. At the start of each school year, the College Guidance Office holds a three-day event for incoming freshmen and transferees, introducing them to the school’s vision-mission, culture, offices, and facilities. The ORSEM’s theme for 2018 is “Renewing the Call to Magis.” As stated in the school’s core values, “Magis is a call to excellence, but not in a worldly sense which is marked by selfish competition for profit or, in a general sense, power. Particularly, Magis prompts us to find God in all things.” This year, the freshmen will also be the first to experience the new curricula designed for the post-K to 12 academic changes. The BS in Accountancy remains a popular course, taking in the most number of new enrollees. In the CPA Board Exam results, the passing rate of ADNU is 66.67%, with 69.70% for first takers. Similarly, the LET overall performance of ADNU is 72.73% (for elementary level) and 66.67% (for secondary level).
