K-9 bites man inside public assistance center
MASBATE CITY --- A K-9 bit a man inside the port here while members of the Philippine Coast Guard were manning a public assistance center here. The Philippine Coast Guard has put up public assistance centers in various ports starting May 29 up to June 9 to insure ports are safe and passenger vessels are seaworthy through mandatory and random inspections of passengers, including their luggage, with the resumption of classes nationwide. The victim was immediately given medical treatment and was able to return home and is now stable condition, report said. “It was a very minor and isolated incident,” according to Lt.
