Rev Fr. Neil Francis Adan Kalaw celebrates Thanksgiving Mass
By Myrna Bermudo Fr. Neil Francis Kalaw, Fr. Kiko to his family and friends, celebrated his Thanksgiving Mass with his family and friends in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist on Saturday, June 23, 2018. It was celebrated at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral, Naga City. He was joined by visiting priests and Caceres Clergy. Born in Naga City, Fr. Kiko said that the Ignatian calling to be a ‘man for others’ summarizes his desire to approach priesthood. God granted his desire when he was ordained in June 2, 2018 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph in San Jose, California. Fr. Kiko will begin his priestly ministry at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Morgan Hill, California, USA. We thank the Lord for the gift of vocation as we celebrate the Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Life in the Church of the Philippines. As Jesus said, ‘There is no greater love than to offer one’s life to others’ (John 15:13).” Let us pray for our new priests who have generously offered their lives for God and for the service of others.
