CamSur, Naga handicrafts topbill ‘Posteriosa’ trade fair

Gunay NAGA CITY --- Seventeen local entrepreneurs and businessmen from this city and the province of Camarines Sur showcased their exquisitely-crafted handicrafts and other products in the ‘Posteriosa’ trade fair. The trade fair is a project of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)- Camarines Sur provincial office that opened July 11 at the event center of SM City Naga. Dubbed as ‘projects crafted with culture and style’, the trade fair showcased a variety of wearable items that included wallets, bags, necklaces, bracelets, hats, key chains, foot wears, clothing pieces and other fashion accessories that are locally produced but are globally competitive. A fashion show featuring the exhibited items concluded the event on Sunday, July 15. The trade fair is a yearly exposition DTI-Camarines Sur that aims to promote local products in the province and city and help entrepreneurs expand their market globally. Exhibitors underwent rigorous product development through seminars and trainings on market strategies and product packaging and design under the auspices of DTI to ensure product quality.
