DPWH has new Bicol regional director

By Manly M. Ugalde LEGAZPI CITY --- The Bicol regional office of the Department of Public Works and Highways has a new director following the retirement from the service of Engr. Danilo Versola, its former director, last August 4, this year. Versola is back to his hometown in Davao. In Special Order 124, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar designated Virgilio C. Eduarte as the new DPWH regional director for Bicol. Eduarte could not be reached for comment but Assistant Regional Director Esmeraldo Sarmiento confirmed that on Tuesday, August 28, the new regional director already met with his division chiefs and the 15 district engineers from the six provinces of Bicol during a staff meeting at the DPWH regional office here. No personal information about him, his past work assignments, and other professional engagements are available at the moment.
