The BIBLE in the BEC

A Basic Bible Seminar was conducted last August 21, 2018 at the Chapel of St. Joseph the Worker, Vicente Heights, Pacol, Naga City for the members of the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) under the Parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Carolina, Naga City. According to the point person who coordinated with the Daughters of St. Paul regarding their request for the input about the Bible, the participants were already conducting Bible Sharing sessions under their Parish. Thus, the seminar aims to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of the Word of God. The seminar was conducted by Sr. Lou Ranara, FSP of the Daughters of St. Paul and Fr. Emil Valeza, Director of the Caceres Commission on Biblical Apostolate. Thirty-one (31) Bicol Bibles were distributed for free to the participants sponsored by the Cosuelo “Chito” Madrigal Foundation headed by Fr. Wilmer Tria, in coordination with Fr. Pat Villasanta, SDB, Parish Priest of the Mt. Carmel Parish in Carolina, Naga City. The said activity was initiated by Clarence Llorin.
