Four nabbed for illegal drugs in CamSur, Naga

Arguelles LEGAZPI CITY --- Anti-narcotics operatives collared at least four persons, including an Indian national selling suspected “shabu” or crystal meth in separate drug operations on Monday in Camarines Sur, police report said on Tuesday. Manuelito, alias Yonon, and Juvy, both surnamed De Lima of Iriga City were arrested by police operatives armed with a search warrant at their residence in Barangay San Francisco, Iriga City, at around 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4. The two suspects have been booked for violating the RA 9165 or the comprehensive anti-illegal drug act, according to Police Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, PNP Bicol spokesperson. Earlier on Mondsay night, Aug. 3, an anti-drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tinago, Naga City netted one Jaggi Singh, alias Jag, 31 married, an Indian national who works as a money lender in the city. He was reported to be residing in Barangay Concepcion in Naga City. Police report said the suspect was selling a suspected shabu in a sachet to an undercover policeman inside Baylon Compound in San Quintin St., Barangay Tinago, Naga City. In another operation, a certain Jonald Raro, alias Jerif, 30, single, a bus conductor residing in Barangay Triangulo, Naga City was also collared by the police for allegedly selling suspected Shabu to an undercover policeman. Jonald was arrested in Jacob St., Barangay Peñafrancia, Naga City at around 12:50 p.m. Monday. All the suspects did not resist arrest and are now detained at the PNP detention facilities in Naga City while awaiting the filing of charges for peddling and possession of illegal drugs.
