AS IT TURNS 11 YEARS OLD: Avenue Plaza Hotel launches “Make it an Extraordinary Avenue!” campaign

By Alu Aluzan-Aran NAGA CITY --- The Avenue Plaza Hotel, the only 4-star hotel in Camarines Sur, ushered in its 11th foundation year with a new logo and the tagline “Make it an Extraordinary Avenue!” The new tagline promises excellence in all areas of hotel operation, as well as in the critical guest experience. The amiable and hard-working hotel President, Mr. Allan Cu, proudly declared: “Our brand promise is to give the hotel guests the power to experience the grandness and the beauty of life at any time of their choosing.” And to support that promise of “grandness and beauty of life,” the hotel has started renovations and upgrades for its guest rooms and facilities, as well as renewal of contract with renowned Filipino fashion designer, Mr. Francis Libiran to design and customize the hotel employees’ uniforms. A unique fashion show, aptly entitled “The Avenue Plaza Hotel Wears Francis Libiran” was held at the hotel lobby and the adjoining Café Plazuela. The show opened with a short video clip of Mr. Libiran sharing his design principles as well as his message to the employees to “wear your uniform with pride, because I designed it with love and pride.” Hotel employees from the different departments including Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Sales, Engineering and Executive Office, sashayed down the lobby to show-off their beautifully designed and well-crafted uniforms. President Allan gave a few words of appreciation for the awards and recognition received by the hotel in all its years of existence, reiterated the promise of service excellence and extraordinary adventure with the hotel, as well as kind words to all its supporters, employees and partners. Together with General Manager, Carl Cruz, Mr Allan Cu led the toast to start more years of fruitful and successful hotel operations. And as all events and celebrations will not be complete without food and drinks, a buffet of light snacks were served for all the guests and partners of the hotel.
