Comelec resets to Oct. 11 to 17 filing of COC

MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has reset the schedule of filing the certificate of candidacy (COC) for the 2019 national and local elections. Instead of doing it on October 1 to 5, the poll body moved the schedule to October 11 to 17, excluding weekends. Comelec Spokesman James Jimenez, however, stressed that there will be no extension of filing hours on the last day of filing. – UNTV News and Rescue
