Holy Rosary Seminaries Celebrate Annual Seminary Day
By Denry F. Baracena The two seminaries of the Archdiocese of Caceres came together as they celebrate their annual Seminary Day in honor of the feast of their patroness, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, last Sunday, October 7, at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary, host of the said event. It started with a living rosary followed by the eucharistic celebration presided by Rev. Fr. Rex Andrew C. Alarcon. After the mass, a Sports Fest was held and the seminarians were divided into four groups: Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous. In the afternoon, everyone was encouraged to attend different workshops like basic self-defense, sketching/drawing, photography, creative writing, public speaking, first-aid training, and rosary making. The awarding and closing ceremonies marked the end of their festivity where Rev. Fr. Mario Gaite, the Rector of the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary, thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.
