2 motorcycle incidents, one fatal
NAGA CITY --- Last Monday (Oct. 22) evening, Rusty Artista y Malbog and Jason Artista y Cortina, both of Barangay Hiwacloy, in Goa, Camarines Sur, while on board a motorcycle were flagged down by unknown suspects that resulted to a commotion between the two groups, according to a report by the Camarines Sur provincial police office here.
After a few minutes, Rusty, 26, fell down on the road with stab wound on his chest. His companion Jason was soon seen running away while being chased by the suspects. Witnesses rushed Rusty to St. John Hospital at Goa town proper but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician.
A team of barangay tanod found Jason with stab wounds on the left side of his body and brought to the same hospital for treatment but later referred to the Bicol Medical Center in Naga City.
Police are still determining the motive of the stabbing incident and conducting follow up operation to find out, among others, the identities of the suspects and how many were they to expedite their arrest.
Meanwhile, in another incident, at about 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, a certain Robert Lee y Pascuhin, married, of Bgy. Odicon, Pasacao, Camarines Sur, without a driver’s license and not wearing a protective helmet, lost control of his motorcycle, crashed into the road and sustained multiple injuries in various parts of his body. He was brought to the Bicol Medical Center here for treatment.
