2 killed in road mishap

LEGAZPI CITY --- Two persons riding on a motorcycle died on the spot after colliding with a vehicle Saturday evening along the national highway in Labo, Camarines Norte.
John Carlo Sureta y Lagumen, 19, was driving a motorcycle with backrider Eugene Nolasco y Agor, 18, when they collided with a Mitsubishi Adventure with plate number WBI 890 driven by Esmail Ansar y Mamantuc, 32, a businessman and resident of Brgy. Borabod, Daet, Camarines Norte.
Probers said the vehicle was enroute to Daet, Camarines Norte from Metro Manila when it hit the motorcycle along a curved and dark portion of the highway at about 9:30 p.m., according to Chief Inspector Malou Calubaquib, Bicol PNP spokesperson.
The two riders died on the spot from multiple injuries.
Daet police is still conducting an investigation on the incident.
