CEAL Holds a PCSS Seminar for Teachers

The Catholic Educational Association of Legazpi (CEAL) held a PCSS Orientation Seminar for new teachers of the Catholic Schools in Legazpi. PCSS stands for Philippine Catholic School Standards. The Seminar was held at Sr. Agnes Academy in Legazpi Albay last November 17, 2018.

It was attended by new teachers from 18 Catholic Schools of the said province. Dr. Joan Alejo, the Chairperson of the Faculty Commission of CEAL, organized the aforementiond seminar. The PCSS is a document that provides standards for effectiveness and Catholicity.

It is one of the current response of the Catholic schools to the call to contribute to the renewal of the society. The PCSS document was launched in September of 2016 during the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Annual General Assembly. (R. Francisco A. Evangelista)
