LEGAZPI CITY --- Anti-narcotics operatives seized on Tuesday afternoon close to P2M worth of suspected shabu from two suspected illegal drug couriers who were collared during a drug operation in a coastal village here.

Arrested were Mark Erwin Dades, 33, of Muntinlupa City, and Enrico San Jose, 48, of Santo Tomas, Batangas, said Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office 5 (PRO5).

The suspects on board a Mazda sedan sold illegal drugs to an undercover agent along the road in Purok 1, Barangay Lamba here around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, Calubaquib said.

Seized from the suspects was a paper bag containing a large sealed plastic sachet containing 200 grams of shabu with a street value of P1.6M, according to Cotton Talento, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bicol spokesperson.
