Kusog Bikolandia endorses Go’s senate bid

By Rhaydz B. Barcia

DAET, Camarines Sur --- Kusog Bikolandia, the Bicol-based regional political party has endorsed the senatorial bid of former Special Assistant to the President now Senate hopeful Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go.

Bong Go’s endorsement was formally declared Kusog Bikolandia founder and chairman Noel De Luna, former media man-turned businessman.

De Luna who can work around between two political rivals in the local political field endorsed Bong Go’s senatorial bid here.

De Luna said that Go if elected to public office, could help speed up the country’s development programs because of the strong trust and confidence given him by the President.

Aside from Go, De Luna also supported the candidacy of re-electionists: JV Ejercito, Grace Poe, Cynthia Villar, and Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

De Luna is a new political player in Bicol region that seeks to unite opposing political camps for the greater benefit and welfare of the majority of Bicolanos from the six provinces of the region and even beyond its territories where there are Bicolano communities.

De Luna formed Kusog Bikolandia on July 16, 2018. It aims to champion genuine social equality, where every Bicolano shall be given access to the same basic needs; quality health services, education, livelihood, emergency assistance, pension, and shelter (HELPS).

De Luna also fielded various local political candidates, from congressmen to governors and municipal mayors and councilors for the May 13, 2019 local elections in the provinces of Camarines Norte, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and Camarines Sur.

Go arrived in Camarines Norte the other day where he was met at Daet airport by De Luna and incumbent Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo “Egay” Tallado of PDP Laban.

Go arrived in a private plane while senatorial candidates such as JV Ejercito, Francis Tolentino, Ronaldo “Bato” Dela Rosa, and Imee Marcos touched down through a chopper.

Go stood as Godfather of a conjoined twins who had been successfully operated on (see separate story) before heading to Agro Sports Complex where the political rally of PDP Laban senatorial candidates was held.

Tallado along with his running mate Vice Gov. Jonah Pimentel and other mayoral candidates under the PDP Laban were present to be with the PDP’s political sortie here.
