Holy Rosary Minor Seminary holds 2nd Graduation and 3rd Completion Rites

On March 24, 2019 there were 28 grade 12 seminarians graduated and 11 grade 10 seminarians completed on the 2nd graduation and 3rd completion rites of the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary. The Celebration started with a mass which was presided over by no less than the Most Reverend Rolando Octavus J. Tria Tirona, O.C.D.,D.D. archbishop of Caceres with the seminary formators as concelebrants. The Archbishop, in his homily, expressed that seminarians must engage themselves into conversation. Conversation with God in prayer, conversation with the seminary through brotherhood and its four aspects of formation and lastly conversation with the society by going out from the walls of the seminary to the outside world.

After the mass the rites immediately started. Sem. Jed Llorin, the Class Salutatorian, gave the opening remarks. In his remarks he quoted the words of St. Paul to Timothy “I have fought the fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. He also stated that most of them are honors but what dominates in things is the journey they had as brothers. After which the undergraduates who were qualified for honors were recognized. The celebration concluded with the speech of Sem. Jay Philip Tino, the Class Valedictorian, and their batch song. Sem. Tino in his speech told the people that they are proud to present themselves as product of the institution. He ended his speech with the words that the only secret for a fruitful formation is to trust in it and trust in the process.
